1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you access the Platform, we may automatically collect:

  • Usage data: Pages visited, calculators used, time spent, buttons clicked, and navigation patterns.
  • Device and browser information: Browser type, operating system, screen size, language preferences, and device category.
  • IP address: Used for security, fraud prevention, and approximate geographic analytics. IP addresses are hashed and are not used to personally identify individual users.
  • Cookies and local storage: Used to save your theme preference, recent calculator history (stored locally in your browser), and session state if you are logged in.

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the services. Aggregate, anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to individual users.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information. Passwords are stored as one-way hashed values — we do not have access to your actual password. Sensitive session data is transmitted over HTTPS. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Gizcalc account.

6. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Links to External Sites

The Platform may contain affiliate links and links to external websites or financial products. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites. Clicking an affiliate link may send information to the affiliate partner. Please review those sites' privacy policies independently.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
